The pinnacle of any wildlife photography workshop or expedition in Africa is to photograph a predator kill. This male cheetah along with his brother successfully killed a medium sized warthog. Cheetahs have to eat fast as many other animals will steal the meal. The cheetah will periodically rise from his feast to quickly scan the surroundings to make sure no other cats or Hyena are approaching. This scene was shot at Kwetsani camp in the Jao concession of Botswana with a Canon 1D Mark II and a 500mm f/4L IS lens.
